Welcome to the StandScan. This is a $35 laminated cardboard structure that folds up when not in use. There's no magic here. place your phone on top with the camera aperture over the hone, and use any app on your phone to take images for sending by email, uploading to selling sites, or converting with OCR. I'm not ready to replace my eyepal with this as far as android goes. I haven't found the perfect ocr app companion yet. It's a very affordable and handy to have around.

When plugged in, the lighting generates 12 v of flash. When using battery, only 9 volts of flash are generated. For an extra $5, get the 12 vold double A battery pack to get the best lighting on the go. The better lighting is well worth the money.
